Personal Life

I was born in Perugia a wonderful town in Umbria, Italy and I live in Davis, a marvelous town in California,  with my wife Paola, and my children Claudia, Fabio, and Dante. My parents Claudio and Teresa, live in Todi, Italy, where I and my family spend every summer in our  home (Casa del Gelso). My brother Francesco is a Molecular Biologist and painter in MIlano. My sister Adele is an entrepreneur and  marketing specialist in Milano.

Our family produces great Olive Oil on the Umbrian hills, thanks to the expertise of my father, a renowned food scientist, now retired from University of MIlano. My mother is a great cook and baker and uses our olive oil in many recipes. We love to get together with family and extended family  in the summer to enjoy life, work in the garden, bike and hike on the Umbrian hills, cook, talk, think and relax.
